Sherron Watkins


Known internationally as the Enron whistleblower, Sherron speaks around the globe to a broad range of audiences about ethics and leadership, and the lessons to be learned from the collapse of Enron, where she served in a variety of executive positions for over 8 years. She is the former Vice President of Enron Corporation who warned Enron's CEO that the company ‘might implode in a wave of accounting scandals.’ She has testified before Congressional Committees from the House and Senate investigating Enron’s demise. TIME magazine named Sherron as one of the 2002 Persons of the Year for “people who did right just by doing their jobs rightly.” Watkins now lectures on leadership and ethics and continues to contribute as an ethics advisor to various organizations. 

Marianne Ibrahim

Marianne Ibrahim is the Chief Compliance Officer at ChampionX, with operations in over 60 countries. She is responsible for global ethics and compliance, as well as trade compliance across the enterprise. She oversees governance to ensure that financial and operational procedures and employee conduct comply with applicable laws, regulations, and contractual agreements in a manner that supports the business and its operations. She manages internal investigations, compliance audits of foreign subsidiaries and joint ventures, third-party risk management, and compliance governance. She also serves as Co-Chair of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Committee, providing guidance on inherent and residual risks.

DeAnna Nwankwo

With more than 20 years of experience in risk, ethics, and compliance, DeAnna serves as Chief Compliance Officer at Prairie View A&M University, a Historically Black College and University (HBCU). She leads the University’s Office of Compliance, overseeing helpline management, investigations, conflicts of interest, and state and federal DEI/DEIA compliance, as well as governance, Public Information Act compliance, audit liaison functions, compliance reviews, and policy development.

Her team also manages Athletics Compliance, Clery Act compliance, and Title IX/Civil Rights compliance, helping ensure a safe, equitable, and accountable environment for students, faculty, and staff. A passionate advocate for integrity and transparency, DeAnna is committed to strengthening a culture of accountability while safeguarding the university’s values and reputation and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.


Diana Urelius

Diana Urelius has over 25 years of diverse international trade experience. Diana has developed and implemented successful trade compliance and corporate governance programs resulting in millions of dollars in savings for her current employer. She is responsible for leading and designing Trade Compliance activities for Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas Inc., a global material handling equipment manufacturer, and its group companies. Diana is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional, licensed U.S. Customs Broker and Accredited Zones Specialist. Diana received her Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, Texas and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. She studied international law at the Universidad CEU San Pablo in Madrid, Spain. Diana was recently appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to serve as a member of the Houston District Export Council and currently is on the HDEC Executive Committee as Secretary. She serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors (Secretary) of the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones (NAFTZ) and is a Board of Director of the Houston Committee on Foreign Relations. Diana served on the U.S. Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, FTZ Working Group (2024 – 2025) and is an Advisory Board Member of the SUPERGirls SHINE Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on developing underserved girls through STEM opportunities. She is a frequent speaker on international trade and ethics and compliance topics.



Tameka Ramsey


Ms. Ramsey is a dedicated professional focused on providing insightful recommendations and excellent client service through relationship-building and root cause analysis. Experience in employment compliance, internal/external audits, and government and community relations. She has served as an internal consultant to management in highly regulated, global organizations on matters relating to workplace conduct and regulatory compliance. She identifies areas of compliance vulnerability and develops proactive and reactive strategies that align with business priorities. Subject matter expertise includes HR compliance (Title VII, Affirmative Action, FLSA, FMLA, ADA), drafting policies and protocols, workplace investigations, dispute resolution, and responding to administrative charges.


Teri Cotton Santos


Teri Cotton Santos is Chief Compliance Officer at Phillips 66, where she leads the company’s global ethics and compliance program. She has extensive experience advising companies and boards on legal, compliance, and risk issues in highly regulated sectors such as energy, pharmaceuticals, and financial services. Teri’s leadership approach emphasizes building compliance teams that serve as trusted advisors to the business, helping the organization navigate regulatory complexity, while supporting strategic growth. By investing in relationships and culture, translating compliance initiatives into metrics that matter and focusing on enablement, rather than policing, she leads teams that elevate compliance as a value-added force. Before joining Phillips in 2023, Teri was Chief Compliance Officer at HF Sinclair, overseeing its global compliance program in areas like cybersecurity, data privacy, trade, and ESG. She previously served as SVP and Chief Compliance and Risk Officer for The Warranty Group, and held several legal roles at Eli Lilly, including General Counsel of Asian Operations. Earlier, Teri worked as a criminal prosecutor. Teri is a graduate of Washington University School of Law in St. Louis and Wellesley College.

Dr. Vasiliki Rahimzadeh

Vasiliki Rahimzadeh, Phd is assistant professor of medical ethics and health policy at Baylor College of Medicine. Her federally funded research program explores ethical, legal, and social issues of emerging health technologies, with an emphasis on genetics and artificial intelligence. She is interested in how the scientific community can harness the power of big data to advance research in ways that respect the privacy interests of individuals and their communities. Dr. Rahimzadeh is co-principal investigator of the Center for Humanities-based Health AI Innovation, has served the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine, and is a standing member of the Bioethics Advisory Panel for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. She holds an undergraduate degree in Microbial Biology from University of California Berkeley, and earned her PhD from McGill University as a Governor General Gold Medalist for best dissertation. In 2022, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in biomedical ethics at Stanford University.

Ellen Smith

With over 25 years of legal compliance experience, Ellen Smith is a recognized leader and expert in global trade compliance matters. Through the strategic development and implementation of comprehensive compliance programs, Ellen has created synergies and efficiencies for her employers while mitigating risk and protecting shareholder value. Building on her wealth of legal and operational experience, Ellen left her in-house legal career in 2020 to create Amalie Trade Compliance Consulting, driven by a vision to deliver tailored trade compliance solutions that effectively operationalize compliance. Over the last 18 months, Ellen has assembled a gold-standard trade compliance team to support a best-in-class global trade compliance consulting practice, offering bespoke program options, jurisdictional reviews, and managed services, including first-level restricted party screening resolution, classification, and broker management. A natural facilitator, Ellen is routinely contacted by business leaders, industry peers, and former colleagues for advice on innovative approaches in an ever-evolving regulatory environment.
